Dennis & Juva
Dennis
I was born in Texas in 1943, but grew up and went to school in Wisconsin. I became a teacher, but left that for two different careers. More recently I worked at Lane Community College for 23 years as an adult education instructor and coordinator for workforce development, retiring recently. I'm also a life strategies coach part
time. Juva and I fell in love, moved to Eugene and raised our family before moving to Corvallis. I have diverse hobbies, from stamp collecting to fantasy baseball (and am a ?09 champion). CoHo is like a large diverse family where you can build relationship around working together, meals, committees, celebrations, and special interests.

I was born in Sacramento area, moved to Bermuda when I was 1 - 4 years, an Island girl at heart. We then moved back to California where I spent most of my school years in North Highlands (suburb of Sacramento). After High School, lived in Bermuda a couple years (did I mention I am an Island girl at heart), Washington DC long enough to find Denny and in 1997 we moved to Eugene. We have three great kids. Leo (1981) lives in Eugene, a computer guy. Florence (Prama) (1983 in Haiti Stork got lost, came home in 1995), Lives LA and has a career in fashion, Michelle (Micki) (1985) lives in Portland, working going to school and Eska’s Mom (Boxer dog who visits us regularly). Career – Psyco-therapist…or is that psycotherapis (LPC) with a private practice downtown Corvallis. I have wanted to live in community all of my life. In 2001 saw a community magazine devoted to cohousing and knew that this was the form for me! Found this group of great folks in Corvallis working on Coho and here we are living together. I love living here, lots of kids (in age and heart) to play with, (gardening, floating the river, weekday swim club, great food and music) work together with (building, taking care of the land, doing the meeting work and emotional work of living in community) and growing together over time…just to name a few of the best parts of living here.
