Amy and Reva

Amy

I was born in 1958 in Chicago, and raised in a northern suburb, Skokie. Skokie was mainly Jewish at the time, and so was my family. I still have a strong Jewish identity and continue to play and sing a lot of the traditional music. During the day, I spend my time running a property management company, and selling real estate.. In my free time I play Jewish and African music, and perform with a marimba band that raises money for Zimbabwe.. I've joined COHO to live in a village instead of being cut-off from my neighbors. I also have gotten interested in habitat restoration, and am hoping to do more with that. I really enjoy looking out my window at the natural meadow, and walking down the path through the trees. It is a blessing to be able to live in such a beautiful place.

Reva Gillman (1990)

Reva is a native Oregonian, born in Corvallis, OR, and she now attends the University of Oregon, and studies French and Anthropology. She is hoping to do some travelling, and go abroad and study in France. She likes hip hop dance, shopping for clothes and riding her bike.
